Mission and Discipleship

Serving both body and soul, sharing the love of Jesus Christ in all we do.

Compassionate Hearts was founded in 2025 to reflect Christ’s compassion by serving vulnerable families in Northern Uganda

Decades of war left widows, orphans, and the elderly in poverty and hunger. Partnering with churches and local leaders, we restore hope through Christ-centered development.

  • Vision: Empowered communities where families thrive with dignity and purpose in Christ.
  • Mission: Restore hope in Northern Uganda through holistic development, education, economic empowerment, and community engagement.

Join us in sharing Christ’s love and transforming lives!

“As Jesus looked on the crowds ‘harassed and helpless. He was moved with compassion’ (Matt. 9:36).” Following His example, your gift can turn seeds into a harvest of hope. Together, we can move 1,550 families from hunger to thriving, physically, economically, and spiritually.

Testimonies

This didn’t just change me, it changed my children. The ripple effect is generational. Education, stability, hope, what starts as one act of support becomes a new story for an entire family line.

This feels like a place I can finally breathe. When I came here, it didn’t feel like a program. It felt like safety. Like I could rest for the first time without fear.

I am learning how to build a future with my own hands. Every stitch, every skill, every lesson…it feels like I’m slowly rebuilding my life. Not depending on someone else but standing on my own.

Donor Recipient 3

I thought I wasn’t going back to school. When they sent me home, I didn’t know if I would ever return. Now I sit in my classroom again. Learning, laughing, and dreaming.

Donor Recipient 4

This changed how I see my future. Before, I wasn’t sure what my life would become. Now I can see possibilities. I can become something.
